Powerful Geography panel session

NCRGE is sponsoring a panel session on “Powerful Geography” at the 2017 National Conference on Geography Education in Albuquerque, NM.
The session will formally introduce the Powerful Geography project being organized by NCRGE. Powerful Geography is a new new research-based approach to geography education that will expand opportunities for all students to reach their fullest potential and highest career aspiration, while simultaneously addressing the critical needs of society and the environment.
Panelists will discuss the rationale of Powerful Geography and the research process that was recently developed at a workshop hosted by NCRGE at Texas State University.
