The National Center for Research in Geography Education was established in 2013 to help advance the agenda for transformative research published by the Road Map Project. Through coordinated, strategic actions, NCRGE seeks to build a research network that generates data and evidence in areas where empirical work is lacking or underdeveloped. The ultimate goal is to provide open access to reports, data and evidence in a manner that informs practice and results in discernible improvements in geography teaching and learning.
