The National Center for Research in Geography Education (NCRGE) has been involved in NSF funded research as to how geospatial content and skills can be integrated into pre-service teacher training courses in math, science, and social studies. We are now expanding this experiment to involve in-service teachers.

There is an opportunity for six (6) early career scholars to be involved in this project. This will be an excellent chance to work on a funded project and to develop understanding, skills, and research techniques that will be of value in future NCRGE grant applications.

The workshop time frame is June 17-30, with the likelihood of dates being June 22-25. There will be a $1,200 honorarium paid to each early career scholar, out of which all expenses must be paid. Consideration for additional funds may be requested for those with large travel expenses.

Please fill out the application form and send it to us no later than May 27, 2015.
